For this class we'll be making Philly Cheesesteak two ways (plant based and filet mignon!), State Greens, SOIL, and Raspberry Red Velvet Cake. We'll cook, eat and talk about the book with our guest teacher Chef Assata Quinlan. Book is included with workshop.

About the event

Join Chef Assata Quinlan for a book workshop for the Black Power Kitchen by the Ghetto Gastro Collective.  We'll cook from and talk about the book, and share a meal together. Chef Assata is from a Black Power family in Philadelphia, is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University & has lived in Oregon since 1996.
